What happens if a Guardian doesn't trigger the message?

You can assign multiple guardians to a single message — any one of them can trigger delivery. The message author can also trigger delivery themselves at any time while they are still active. We recommend assigning at least two trusted people so there is always a backup.

Can I change my Guardian later?

Yes. You maintain full ownership and control over your vault. You can update, change, or remove Guardians at any time through your dashboard before the message is delivered.

How secure is the 20-year vault?

Extremely secure. All messages are encrypted with zero-knowledge AES-256 encryption at rest and SSL/TLS in transit. Only you and your designated recipients can access the unencrypted content when triggered.

What are the upcoming vault extension options?

While the default vault stores messages securely for up to 20 years, upcoming vault extension options will allow users to extend storage to 40 or 60 years — designed for long-term family legacy delivery.
